COS Wine Seminars is owned and run by Daniele del Gesso (Dipl. Sommelier and Professional Web Consultant & Designer) and has been offering bespoke wine seminars since 2007.

 Meet Daniele del Gesso: 
Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada - residing in Munich since 1995 - Daniele has been a wine fan as long as he can remember and his family has been cultivating their own grapes and making their own wine for over 150 years.

After being struck by the wine bug a few years back and having attended various wine seminars in Munich and abroad, Daniele was turned off by the high-brow manner these self professed wine gurus were teaching about wine. So as the saying goes, "if you want something done right, do it yourself!". That's when he decided to become a Sommelier and "take the snob out of the wine" one seminar at a time... COS being the result.

 Philosophy: 
Life is too short to be drinking someone else's favourtie wine(s). Trust your palate, don't be afraid to try new wines and try as many as possible... only then will you find "your wines".

 Favourite wine myth: 
That greatly priced wines automatically mean you're getting what you pay for. Right? Wrong!

 What type of grape variety best describes Daniele? 
Shiraz! Able to adapt to almost any climate, blends well, fairly easy to maintin but very complex when cultivated properly.
